Uterine Fibroids
Uterine fibroids are tumors that grow in a woman's womb (uterus). These growths are typically not cancerous (benign).
Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a disorder in which the tissue that forms the lining of your uterus grows outside of your uterine cavity. It can cause very heavy bleeding and painful cramps.
This study is currently taking place at OMEGA Research DeBary and Maitland.
Why it Matters?
Symptoms
Effects girls and women of reproductive age. More than 1 in 10 women have it.
Most women are diagnosed in their 30s' and 40s'.
Endometriosis causes up to 50% of infertility.
